Would highly recommend this walk to anyone this is a brilliant walk with lovely views will definitely be doing it again and again

Lovely walk. Beautiful views.

This is a relatively easy flat walk. There is a few rocky areas.

Absolutely brilliant! Fabulous views, great tracks, easy to follow. Just breathtaking. Perfect for dogs. My two children also loved it as we hike in excess of 8 miles every weekend dog walk (6 and 4)but probably not for children who are not experienced distance walkers. Shall definitely be returning again to tackle it trail running!

Nice route 1hr30 with a nice mixture of fields and the reservoirs. we crossed over to the other side of wayoh reservoir which was nice. Easy difficulty

Hard going, but worth it in the end

A really enjoyable walk with varied scenery, and if you take a 50m detour off the trail half way around you will find the hidden gem that is the Dolphin Inn.

Good little walk for people with kids more of a dog walking aria

weather was quite windy , a bob hat may be needed even on a warmer day as it’s very open . the initial slope to the top is a little steep but it soon levels out and offers fantastic views , lots of gliders in the area to admire . we parked on the road as did others

I’d definitely grade this trail moderate not easy but worth it for the views, 1st time on the trail i wouldn’t of found my way around as they’re is sign posts missing but with the app it was fine.

Brilliant 2 and a half hour walk with my four and six year old and the two dogs. Beautiful scenic countryside. Lots of field and off road tracks. Easy to follow route. Dog friendly too. Only issue I had was getting my German shepherd over one stile. There was nowhere for him to crawl through or jump over. I had to throw him over a chest high wire fence. All in all a favulous route that I shall most definitely be returning to!

We arrived at the trail at around 10:10am. We saw a few people on our walk but no more than 20 in the entirety of the walk. The initial climb up Parlick is a hard one, but the rest of the trail is a nice walk with some amazing views on the way. Thoroughly recommend for anyone.

Nice walk with lovely views. I personally enjoyed the first part of the way by the river.

It’s a good trail, I ended up following from Factory Lane through to Wigan Road. It’s a decent walk and very scenic. Would recommend it for sure especially on a sunny day.

Nice walk and great pub at start / finish.

Lovely walk that myself, my partner and the dogs all enjoyed.

My first mountain. A sharp incline early on and a long downhill section. I did this in preparation for the three peaks trail in June and it’s certainly given me a good idea of how difficult it will be. Great views!

Absolutely lovely walk around the beautiful country side

Love this walk. Nice to go to The Barn afterwards for something to eat.

Lovely walk. I go quite a lot with my dog. doesn't take ages to walk round, no hills and its usually fairly quiet whatever time of day it is.

Great walk. Difficult in parts especially climbing the steps. Very rewarding with outstanding views

Amazing trail, very peaceful throughout. We took our two dogs and plenty of spots for them to cool off in the river. Not overly busy for a bank Holiday weekend. Will definitely be coming back.

seemed quite a challenging climb and on the way back down i fell on a loose stone path. i wasn’t hurt, but such stunning views and a great area to explore . i really enjoyed the adventure .

an enjoyable track, done on a hot day

Nice walk with good places to stop for photos. Worth noting you can’t take dogs on the route though!

Good walk with the kids, with a nice lunch afterwards.

So the rating for this is EASY ! The incline was bad enough, lost count of the amount of times I had to stop. Once at the top the views were amazing though and I would definitely do it again.
