Great memories as a kid coming up here with my dad... awesome walk

Nice walking but is not dog friendly at all. Is not possible to pass with your dog 2-3gates

Lovely walk, the first part dogs must be on a lead then it’s dog friendly, lots of step but the views are excellent on a sunny day

easy going walk, perfect for dogs, very busy around the forest hub area but crowds thin greatly as you get further round. good views, easily doable in all weather.

Picturesque. Muddy in couple of areas...slipped over!!! Cut back to Whalley Rd to the pub :)

I would not recommend this walk! The conditions underfoot were terrible, it was very boggy and much further than stated.

great walk and we ambled and is it in about 2 hrs on a damp morning . The section towards Stoneyhurst College was excessively muddy 'smooshy' (according to my daughter) and we should have stayed in the road 6423 back. Highly recommend

is this trail accessible pushing a wheelchair?

Today muddy terrain with treacherous stretches "causes organic pollution" caused by livestock. However beautiful and typically English.

Nice flat walk through varied scenery including a WWII pillbox and a boating lake. Toilets and refreshments available on route. Recommended.

Nice walk to do in an evening, unfortunately dog had to be on the lead as sheep are around. Some very nice views would recommend.

Great local walk to get those 10,000 steps in. The same bridge connecting Aveham Park and the local bike trail is still closed; has been for a while but you can easily go round it taking all of a 30 second diversion. A little overgrown in parts but nothing major. A great walk for families. DOG FRIENDLY throughout!

It's a bit muddy near the river but not too bad. Very pleasant easy walk. We found it 12km not 10km. Very easy to follow route, very few roads crossed. Parking is free behind the pub. Pub is also very nice for post walk drink. Picnic spots are best found early on near the river.

used the trail in august after a few wet and windy days, so the entire walk involved walking through mud. although the waterfall was worth seeing and my 14 year - xbox obsessed - teen enjoyed it, it wasn’t too strenuous and most of the up hills were not steep. we found it very easy to get off trail, and we struggled keeping on track, but still easy enough to make our way round and see some lovely views.

Lovely walk, parked the car next to the sea ( Sunday so no charge) and walked around the the sea front, then walked into the forest mid way around which the kids loved, after that we followed the signs to arnside knott, nice walk up with lovely views at the top, at the end there is a pub on the corner which does some great real ale beers ! And 2 beers and 2 kids drinks for £9, which isn't bad .

Beautiful and picturesque. My friend and I liked to pretend we were Samwize Gamgee and Frodo on a journey through the Shire to Mordor. We also had our little Smeagol with us in the shape of a French Bulldog/ Brussels Griffon. Next time we will be sure to take our Elven cloaks and keep an eye out for some Rhosgobel Rabbits!

Stanley Park, Blackpool, 10k. A nice run with a mix of trail and road running, with one hill that you will definitely feel at the end.

A lovely walk for our dogs! It was raining and muddy but still a fab walk, turned back a quarter of the way round down to the weather conditions otherwise we would’ve carried on all the way.
