bit of a struggle if you're a novice up the initial steps/climb but rewarded with fantastic views at the top, especially on a sunny day! nice settings round the reservoir too! overall a nice moderate hike!

Really enjoyed it. It was hard but when we reached the top it was well worth it

I’d definitely grade this trail moderate not easy but worth it for the views, 1st time on the trail i wouldn’t of found my way around as they’re is sign posts missing but with the app it was fine.

Nice walk with lovely views. I personally enjoyed the first part of the way by the river.

Absolutely lovely walk around the beautiful country side

seemed quite a challenging climb and on the way back down i fell on a loose stone path. i wasn’t hurt, but such stunning views and a great area to explore . i really enjoyed the adventure .

So the rating for this is EASY ! The incline was bad enough, lost count of the amount of times I had to stop. Once at the top the views were amazing though and I would definitely do it again.

says easy... definitely not!! The trek up to the top is difficult and steep! Views at the top lovely though.

The incline is a little bit tough but once your over that the views are amazing and it’s a nice walk.

A great walk but definitely not one for those not looking to test themselves a little as the steps that take you to the top of pendle are more than a little steep!! Definitely worth the effort when you get to the top as the views are amazing with a nice walk back down past the reservoir back into Barley
