4.9 STAR C'MOOONNN

Dog and family friendly. Easy route. Although for me, not much to see. Enjoyed it but not in a hurry to do it again, although it was interesting .

If you love coastal walks, this one is great. Park at Minnis Bay, Birchington and walk along the beach or promenade to Reculver, where there’s a welcoming pub with grub or just a drink, before walking back.

Parking £2.50 for the day at Harrietsham Station. Lovely views. I would say more moderate than easy on this one as I am by no means a hiker, but am walk/run fit, this was on a similar level to a harder trail I followed recently. The weather was good but there was a lot of mud and large puddles, some blocking paths completely so go prepared for this if using the trail at the tail end of the year! I have added some photos to show just how lovely this countryside is! Look out for birds of prey too!

Nice easy walk pretty much flat the whole way except for the golf course

Great walk, we did it on a sunny and dry day. Beautiful views.

Definitely easy, as described. A group of 4 adults and a child on a bike decided to embark on this after a full day at work. The resulting sunset was amazing over the downs and we discovered lots of natural beauty that we never knew was there, it’s amazing what you see when you leave your car behind! The Kent countryside is stunning!

An easy hike with lovely views and a good mix of hills, fields and village scenes.

Beautiful walk... The Three Mariners was a welcome site at the end...

Pretty little Village. Walk starts off opposite a pub with stream and wide open space, follows along into woodland trail.

Pretty, various surfaces, no hills!

Nice easy stroll. Enjoyable

Lovely walk and great sights of Elham from on top of the hill. Some parts are very overgrown so don't wear shorts!

the views along the route are amazing with great views of dover castle and the white cliffs along the way. the hike isnt too difficult and you can continue hiking past the lighthouse if you would like to spend some more time on the hike. it is about an hour or so to the lighthouse and another back plus time to sit and take pictures. overall a good hike with interesting scenery there is a shipwreck you can see on the shore that is pretty cool as well.

I’ve done this walk loads of times. It’s a lovely area with a surprising amount of water.
It has its own car park which charges but it’s not much.
The main circular walk takes about 45mins and is flat. There’s plenty of benches along the way and extra bits you can add on if you fancy a longer walk. There’s also a playground for the kids.

lovely walk with the children and dog.
