The walk was superb, with a great pub included. But I wanted to especially comment on the walk directions an narrative- second to none.

very nice walk across fields. nobody around and sunny!

Simple walk around the reservoir, but still nice. Does cost £4.50 to park though, so would recommend finding somewhere outside of the reservoir and then walking in.

Despite the rain for the past few days, and muddy conditions as a result, this was a wonderful trail with beautiful hilltops and enchanted woods. Although I dropped my phone in a puddle while checking the app, I was able to take some pictures of the stunning views. It's definitely not for the faint hearted with steep climbs and lots of stairs - almost got chased by a cow. All part of the experience however!

Varied trail across fields, through woods, and along lanes. A few short sharp hills and some nice views. The end isn't ideal - it is on a twisty road with blind corners, but other than that it's great.

A simple, no thrills walk around the park. Plenty of places to stop to sit, and a coffee van at the entrance opposite the library

easy walk, nice scenery, quiet and secluded by the canal.

lovely route. can get a bit samey near Cheshunt

Good easy walk for just over an hour. let's you work up an appetite for the pub! No real views during, but very pleasant nonetheless

Lovely walk. Instructions clear and easy to follow. Some steeper parts. Nice lunch at the Tring museum cafe

Really nice walk. Lovely views, very easy to follow. No steep climbs or stiles to negotiate, just a few well behaved horses.

I would definitely recommend this trail it's family friendly. Great for dog owners and lovely cafe. it also has plenty of water sports activities and wildlife reserves

The first 6 miles are crazy, the path is next to the highway, car’s noise and the path is narrow and there are tall nettles, I recommend long trousers. The trail became better and better when you are approaching the natural park.

We’ve done this trail before and loved it so returned with friends. Gorgeous start to the walk however once you leave the quarry area and cross Ray Brook the footpath is so overgrown it’s almost impossible to walk through. We also had to walk the road around the next section as the field was so overgrown with stinging nettles there was no way through. Then the footpath along the Vets college was closed! Fantastic start but awful second half. I’m sure at another time of year when weeds aren’t growing it will be a great walk again.
