Good walk, muddy in parts.. Parking is chargeable Toilets on site - take tissue though as none is provided Hot dog/burger van available as well as an ice cream van.

Too busy for us when you’re walking down by the stream and quite difficult to park. Very dog friendly though and good for families.

I haven't hiked in a while and am clearly out of shape so it was a killer! beautiful walk with great views and dog friendly, he was off the lead for most of the walk.

Really enjoyed this trail, took about 3 hours inc. a scenic stop for lunch. A newish unmarked path up to the tower threw us but you rejoin the main route and can backtrack it you want to visit it. Very marshy and boggy in places, and unclear in the cattle field where the public right of way is, but easy enough to get back to the route if you head in that general direction. Great views and lots of birds.

Really enjoyable walk with beautiful views. Parking is £1.30 for the day and there's toilets. Walk starts on accessible paths, but you're soon away from most of the people. Then the rocky scramble up the stream, soon after you're on the tops which has boggy sections and is exposed (wind and rain started for us) but has great views. Then the final path down is a long, steady decline on gravel and tarmac. Lots of dogs, kids and bikes on the paths around the reservoir, dog waste bins there too. Good walk for dogs depending on how they'd find the scramble up the stream.

nice country walk, largely uphill at first but well worth it for the views of sheep, deer and highland cows! Extremely muddy in some places but has been raining a lot recently

Really enjoyed this route. If doing it clockwise the 3rd quarter is difficult. More like goat trails than footpaths. Great views though and good walking

the amount of poo bags is disgustingly spoiling what would have been a lovely walk

Easy enough walk although the path on the tops are a little worse for wear just now. A scramble along the side of the river. Good views, worth the effort.

dog friendly and good if u like bird watching
