A pleasant walk, predominantly road walking but mostly on quiet roads. However, Long Heads Lane just doesn’t exist - certainly not a lane, and what seemed to be a path petered out around two thirds of the way up the field and we had to pick our way through corn rows to get to the end. As someone else has mentioned, suggest carrying on further up Lumby Lane, then taking the left up Ingthorne Lane to join the main road further along.

Fantastic walk with great views, forest, and a lovely river. A couple short steep steps, but very dog friendly.

Great route, guide covered all of the terrain and places to see. Lovely walk in a fantastic location. Well recommended.

Great day out on this trail with the family. Parked at NT carpark, well signposted along the way. Great spots along the river before the waterfall for a good (cold) swim! So cozzies and towels a must to pack. Going again with bikes as the hunters/fishermans path didnt seem suitable for family bikes, but on the other side of the river looked like a good path to try. Pub was open selling from a hatch at the bridge. Great trail, and some excellent viewing points on the high ground along the way too.

This would be a lovely walk without the traffic noise from the A30. I like peaceful countryside so this was not my favourite.

Enjoyed it very much. Hot day - yes you have road noise in first stage but Wyndham and Stroud ponds very nice.

Love walking around the Lickey hills. Great parking, nice park for youngsters, cute little visitors shop, and there’s a few routes to choose from.

Still very muddy in parts and some entrances and exits from fields after Barnt Green need a bit of circumnavigation! At the Bittell Farm Road waypoint we decided to keep on the road up the hill and after about quarter of a mile took a path just before a house on the left which took us to the Reservoir and avoided the very muddy route via the vehicle barrier as described (and potentially got better views). If you don't fancy an uphill walk back to the car from half way round, suggest starting in Barnt Green where there were spaces on the route to park. Would go back again as its a good length route and would spend less time looking down at where your next step will be and admire the views!

Only half of this walk is nice. It is spoilt by the walk along the busy main road in Monk Fryston with narrow footpaths and then again for over a mile along the footpath right next to the really busy A162. This road experiences a lot of heavy good vehicles too. The route description explaining the walk to be "lightly trafficked" is simply not true. Also don't try this walk after wet weather. The part where you have to cross a field can get VERY sloppy.

we often go k this walk with friends and the dogs. Park in the Bsrnt green in and walk through the Lickey Hills park, can get very muddy after some rain. The hardest part of the walk is the start (if walking to lickey hills) then its pretty much flat. lovely walk.

Unfortunately the Hanningfield reservoir does not allow dogs, but the area itself is outstanding. Lots of wind in the willow themed wooden statues and plenty of scenery. The visitor centre is quite small, so if you want food aim for a 15-20 min wait when it’s busy.

This is a really nice walk, the last little uphill stretch pushes you to a tiresome finish. I'd recommend this walk to anyone, during winter it's very muddy, but still enjoyable. I'm going to do this route more regularly, look forward to the summer time with this one, the views will be lovely.

Really enjoyed this walk on a sunny day at the end of December - lots of interesting fungi and varied terrain with woodland and heath. Lots of road noise at the start but didn’t spoil the walk at all.

First use of the app for a local walk and enjoyed it. Although the field at the end of Hogs Head Lane has been harvested and ploughed so the paths gone and pretty much impassable when wet! I’d suggest until it’s back walk up to Ingthorpe Lane (it’s the next left) rarely any traffic and puts you out onto the path rather than the verge of the main road

Perfect steady, Sunday morning walk. A few slippy, rocky areas that the elderly or children may need to watch out for. But all in all a beautiful stroll.
