Good run although not straightforward the first time you do it.

Phone started running out battery! Started this walk at Brighton beach. Lovely views of the downs - the chattri, farm houses, etc. Messed up at the end and missed a lot of the golf course. But a nice walk

Fast lunchtime walk alone

amazing views on a sunny day

This walk is an absolute-must. The sight of the stunning white cliffs and the brilliant blue sea will stick with you for a while! Brace yourself because there are parts of the trail that are very steep but you’ll be fine if you take enough breaks. There’s also a restaurant cafe partway through the trail so you can have a nice lunch and stock up on more food. Took me around 7 hours, with all my breaks (and there were many)

Really pretty walk the whole way round. Toward the end had a perfect pinnic spots with views. The little church was a lovely visit. We hope to go back and do the walk from the other direction another time.

Walked this route with my wife on Saturday 14th March 2020. Very muddy on the wooded and heathland paths with a lot of deep puddles. We had wellies but it would be difficult in walking boots. Conditions will only improve if the current rainy conditions stop!

Nice woodland walk

Some steep sections but very beautiful on a sunny day. We went around Cuckmere Haven adding about an hour or more. Quite muddy. And we added a bit on to the end as we had a pint of Guinness in the Crown and Anchor in Eastbourne.

View of lovely Old Hellingly Train station. Easy walk.

Great seaside hike with views of the chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters. Parts were muddy, long day and very cold and windy. Dress appropriately.

This was a great walk in the cold wind! Will do it again.

I wasn’t able to follow it after the first third. Under the bridge it was flooded and had to take a huge diversion. After the storm kicked in so had to take the safest and quickest way back via main lanes. I’ll try it again in summer!

A great challenging walk. Right from the start your walking up hill which gets your legs moving for the rest of the journey. After you pass the church into the forest (which is "closed" due to work) it's down hill for a while and then a long flat walk until you get to some lovely steps which leads you up to a view of the seven sisters and river cuckmare which is a photographers point indeed. steep hill down towards road. cross road to the river and continue along until the bottom of the sisters. The first sister is hardest in my opinion. once you've achieved this the rest although still hard should be easier. get over these and your on the last bit where the begining path joins up with the path your on now. to car park. I've done this walk 3 times now as newish to hiking but love a walk. Would recommend greatly. especially on a sunny day. (not a summers day "wind burn"). Great views this time of year with clear weather (winter) 10/10 on good day 7/10 in rough weather still fun.

Nice walk but very muddy in parts. The bridge under the rail track was very flooded so we scrambled up the bank and pegged it across the tracks and scrambled down the other side
