HikingGreat!

We parked behind the bears paw and did the loop from there, i would definitely recommend this way as you get the straight gravel road out of the way at the beginning. Really enjoyable walk, some tough hills but amazing views

Lovely easy short trail leading to stunning panoramic views of the hills around. Good place to take a picnic with the ease of the nearby car park.

Lovely coastline walk, along the beach. Can be completed as a look if you follow the trail back to Alnmouth. Easy to navigate

A nice walk. The jump off car parking point as shown on the trail is now clearly sign posted on site as private and belonging to a farm. The best place to park is Kings Somborne and walk from there to the trail which adds around just over a mile to the walk. About 70% of the walk is on Forest and Farmland vehicle trail with the remainder on forest paths and quiet country road. I've given the trail 3 stars as a lot a the trails are on straight line paths which detracts from the walk I feel.

Very nice trail- park above the old mill and walk towards Dittisham. Forests, river, pasture. Great scenery, some challenging hills. Awesome views of the Dart and beyond.

Really enjoyable romp with varied landscape, a couple of moderately taxing slopes, some very posh houses to gawp at and a great pub to start/finish at.
