Stunning views, with a challenging climb (the walk down the coombe then up to the top of Great Hangman gets your heart going) But it’s an easy to follow trail. This is South West Coast path at its finest The best bit of the trail is Hendon’s Mouth to Woolacombe. This is about a 7 mile section. And that’s 5 *. I recommend a walking pole. Bring food/drink as there’s nothing for refreshments between Hunters Inn and Coombe Martin. I also added an easy detour (about a mile) to the trig point at the top of Holdstone. Stunning views and it feels good to reach the cairn at the top, that you’ll see throughout this hike.

Started at the Elmscott YHA instead of South Hole. This trail is stunning! There are many gorgeous views. It's pretty strenuous as there is a lot of ascent and descent.

Nice hike that's long but not particularly strenuous. We started in Clovelly and finished in Elmscott, where we stayed at the YHA.

Fantastic views in the first half of the hike from trentishoe to Coombe martin. Very hilly and more difficult than moderate I would say. We did do the hike yesterday and the weather was up to 25 so was a hot day. Second half of the walk is not so hilly and the views are okay. Footpaths are very overgrown but they were cutting the hedges etc down so should be fine soon. Views don't really get better until you are near Hele but worth keeping at it. Would definetly recommend and will do it again but I would probably only do trentishoe to coombe martin for the views. Done it in around 5 hours as in walking time and 7 hours including the breaks.

Lovely walk, views were great and parts were challenging. Trail ended early due to a diabetic brother who brought no snacks

I went cycling with my brother and I won’t lie: I was out of shape and it was a little bit of a challenge to me. My brother just breeze through it!

one of the most stunning and far reaching moorlands the UK has to offer. Dartmoors all about fog, granite underground streams and old oaks. You can walk along way before you see a road or house, the beauty and vistas on offer are hard to beat, if you happen to catch a good sunset at a high point you're in for a treat! Too many good walks to reccomend one, ideally prepare a long week to explore the many excellent walks! as good as it gets...
