The Monsal Trail is a cycling, horse riding and walking trail in the Derbyshire Peak District. This route will take you through some of the Peak District's most spectacular limestone dales and landscapes. There are hundreds of interesting things to see along the Monsal Trail including wildlife, wildflowers, geology, industrial and rail heritage. The trail is a way-marked route with coordinated interpretation panels and listening posts to help people enjoy all it has to offer. [Reminder] Two sections of the Monsal Trail will be closed for conservation and maintenance work, on weekdays only for two weeks, from Monday 28 September. Parts of the Trail will still be available for use. For more information please visit https://www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/visiting/places-to-visit/trails/monsaltrailShow more
