We started the trail at the start point in Saint Ives, This takes you anti-clockwise, The weather was good, not to hot with very little wind, It says this rout is Moderate but it wasn’t long into the journey to find out that it’s quite hard, For the first 4 hours there a lot of rock climbing to navigate the path, You really need to navigate and place every foot step, We covered 32km the first day, we stoped over night in Saint Just, We started again the next morning where we left off, The weather was hotter and the path not much easier, there’s a lot of up hill and down hill and again the lots of rocky paths to navigate, There’s is some fresh water coming from the hills that you can fill your water bottles, It’s a very interesting walk with lots of adventure, Lovely sandy beech’s, waterfalls, great walk through the Geevor Tin mine, Through woods and very close to the cliff edge with a steep drop to the sea, All making the rout challenging and fun. We completed the next 36.5km making Journey a total of 69.5km Looking at other people’s reviews on here it seems we are the only ones to complete it from start to end. We will go back to do some parts of the long rout one day.

Beautiful, but do not under estimate the costal track. It's severe terrain, elevation of 800ft then downwards 600ft, bouldering etc. this is not for the faint hearted. There is a walk slightly inland from the Costal path and that is more of a normal pathway. We went down to zennor cove too (the way to that is quite hidden and hard to find) then had a drink in the Tinners Arms in Zennor and got the bus back from there at 16:42. Beautiful views, but jeeze its hard on the body!

First half of this hike is fairly strenuous. Gets easier when it flattens closer to Tintagel. Scenery is gorgeous throughout.

Beautiful coastal views - if you can do it on a warm and clear day the views are breathtaking

Beautiful scenery. Shorter and less strenuous than other sections of the path surrounding it. Didn't quite hike all the way to Crackington Haven - stayed at Higher Tresmorn.

Not beautiful at all for me, along the railways, don’t feel connecting with nature...
