Easy walk. Pleasant but contains roads without footpaths. Not suitable for young kids or pushchairs.

We combined this with the Binfield walk on Boxing Day. It wasnt too muddy and the views are great. I agree that the road can be busy and any traffic is quite fast. We enjoyed this walk.

Lovely walk and views on a November (2018) day.

A lovely walk for a Sunday afternoon, with well maintained paths and not much traffic.

The oak tree referred to in the introduction was actually an elm, known as the Centre Elm, which was probably an early victim of Dutch Elm Disease. The remnants were inexplicably removed in 2003. There are various local stories about people hiding inside the elm to escape the law or rob passers-by.
