The second and final section of the Unstrut-Werra cycle route leads from Ebeleben through Schlotheim to Mühlhausen. There are numerous historical sights to discover here. The route continues north of the Hainich National Park, which is the only national park in Thuringia and has even been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its native beech forest, until you finally reach your destination of Heldra and the Werra.
