Wonderful walk on Sylt.
This is a classic walk on the North Sea island: from Westerland to Kampen along the west beach. The start is at the railway station. The route leads northwards directly to the beach, past many restaurants, the beach gallery and shops, into the impressive dune landscape. The path leads to the famous Uwe dune in the middle of the unique surroundings. Located in Kampen, the 52 metre high dune is the highest on Sylt and, once at the top, offers magnificent views of the island. At some distance from Camping Wenningstedt, the path leads leisurely past Nordwäldchen and Friedrichshain back to Westerland.
