This is the official route of the RSV Husum e.V. cycle marathon in Husum, a traditional RTF (cycle tour). Designed exclusively for racing bikes, this is an extreme endurance challenge. The route is almost entirely tarmac and takes riders on a huge loop through North Friesland. This region is famous for its flat land, characterised by green dykes, sheep and coastal villages. The main difficulty comes not from the metres in altitude, but from the enormous distance and the relentless, strong wind from the North Sea.
