This circular route takes you around the course of the Wakenitz near Sankt Hubertus and through the Wakenitz lowlands. It starts from the car park, but it is also possible to arrive by bus. The route turns off into the forest and follows the Drägerweg southwards, turns off into the Nädlershorst and crosses the Wakenitz. The route follows the Kolonnenweg back towards Herrnburg through woods and across meadows. Here are the options of departing from the railway station or returning to the starting point. There are refreshment stops near the route. The route is suitable for both walking and cycling.
Please note! A good section of the route runs right next to Deutsche Bahn railway tracks. Caution is advised here.
