Start from the car park at the Orchideenwiese. Along the shore of the fjord to the Hörnbrücke bridge and then to Wellsee and through the Rönner Gehege to the south and Preetz. Here you can take a break in the town centre and treat yourself to something to eat. Back in the saddle, the route then heads north along the Schwentine to Rastorf and on to Rosenfeld. If you continue along the river, you will come out at the Schwentine Bridge and from here you can cycle along the main road and past the harbour back to the Hörnbrücke bridge and the starting point.
