Zschopautal-Radweg Etappe 1: Oberwiesenthal - Zschopau

1st section of the Zschopautal cycle route from Oberwiesenthal to Zschopau This section leads along the Zschopau Valley Cycle Route, which is often referred to as the "Royal Route of the Ore Mountains". It leads from Oberwiesenthal, Germany's highest town, via the town of Zschopau to Döbeln. This stage corresponds to the 1st part of this tour and runs from Oberwiesenthal to Zschopau. This cycle tour is an official cycle route of the Erzgebirge Tourism Association. As the long-distance cycle route leads through the wild and romantic Ore Mountains, the path is often unpaved and technically rather demanding - the route is therefore primarily suitable for all-terrain bikes such as mountain bikes.
