Neustadt in Sachsen - Polenztal - Bad Schandau

This hike starts in the town of Neustadt in Sachsen. You can park at the starting point or arrive by bus. From there, you follow the Polenztalweg trail along the Polenz river. Follow this path to Hohnstein, where you turn off onto the Bärengartenweg. The trail then leads along the Ochelmühlenweg to Bad Schandau. Along the way, there are always marvellous viewpoints such as the Hockstein view, the Hafersäcke view or the panoramic view near Bad Schandau. Another highlight takes place at the Märzenbecherwiese meadow. Here you can marvel at the largest wild population of wild wildflowers in Saxony.
