The last section of the Mulde Cycle Path also reveals itself to be a castle route. On the 14 kilometres from Rochlitz to the final destination of Sermuth, there are three impressive castles to discover in Rochlitz, Colditz and Podelwitz. Once in Sermuth, the Zwickauer Mulde and the Freiberger Mulde finally flow together to form the Mulde, which continues northwards until it flows into the Elbe.
