Lunzberge and Brachwitz Alps (Tour 1)

Varied route in Halle (Saale), Saxony-Anhalt. A number of interesting cycle tours are described in the cycling and hiking map of the city of Halle (Saale). The Lunzberge cover an area of 60.52 hectares. The nature reserve stretches from the Lettin district to the Saale ferry at Brachwitz and Neuragoczy. On the porphyry elevations and overlapping slopes of loess black earth, rocky and pioneer meadows, dry and semi-dry grasslands and dwarf shrub heaths can be found. Black locust trees have been planted on individual porphyry slopes, but these are not worth protecting. There are only small areas of woodland and copses.
