Versatile dream circular route in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park.
This circular route doesn't get its name for anything: ten historic crosses line this path, which stonemasons from Britten created in the 18th century. In summer, the forest provides excellent shade. First, it goes downhill into the Saarhölzbachtal. We continue through a quiet forest and a disused quarry. The traces of hammers and chisels can still be seen on the rock walls of the quarry.
