The forest gorge trail takes you through dreamlike valleys, fairytale forests and picturesque floodplain landscapes. From the car park, cross the L309 and walk along the Hillscheider Bach stream past the Forellenhof farm. Where the stream turns north, you cross the road again. Continue in the direction of Kuckucksberg, which you circle - on somewhat steeper paths. You pass the Bembermühle mill and the hidden Limes wall. This dates back to Roman times and has been a World Heritage Site since 2005. Passing the Puschenkopf, the trail then leads back to the Feisternachtbach valley and back to the starting point.
