On the sixth stage of the Rhineland-Palatinate Cycle Route, you leave the Rhine again and cycle 76 kilometres from Linz to Wissen in the Westerwald. This section of the long-distance cycle route initially leads along the Rhine Cycle Route to Bad Honnef, from where it heads eastwards through the Siebengebirge mountains and then via Buchholz and Kircheib to Langenbach an der Nister. From here it is just 7 kilometres on the Nister cycle path to Wissen.
