On this route hikers can expect a path with many geological and historical sights. The circular route leads over bridges, ladders and footbridges through the Butzerbach valley to a Roman copper mine, red sandstone rocks and legendary caves. It continues on narrow paths and at the end of this beautiful premium hiking trail is the landmark of the Kylltal, Ramstein Castle and parts of the Roman long walls. On the way are the "Reinigungslöcher", the Genoveva cave and the Klausen cave. There are places to stop. The starting point is the Ramsteiner Weg hiking car park near Butzweiler.
