Ohmbachsee Circular

Beautiful, promising hike in the West Palatinate, Rhineland-Palatinate. This easy hike starts at the parking lot on the lake's western shore. The Ohmbachsee is the largest contiguous body of water in the western Palatinate. Everything is possible here, from walking and cycling on the Glan-Blies cycle path to fishing or pedal boating. For children, there is a beautiful water playground with a giant slide. The circular route around the Ohmbachsee is barrier-free and can largely be assigned to the difficulty level 2-3. The slope is about 5-6%. The path is mostly unpaved and consists, among other things, of dense, small-sized gravel and earthy, dense forest floor. Accordingly, it can be muddy in places after rainy weather. The width of the path is between 90cm and 200cm, and the popular circular path is more frequented on weekends.
