The hike starts at the market square in Kelberg and the first highlight is the parish church of St Vincent, built in the 12th century. The route continues along the course of the Herreinseifen stream to Surbüsch, where you will find the "Spitze Kreuz", a vow cross from a legend dating back to 1639. Past the "Red Ants", the path leads via Zermüllen to the old oak tree, which is around 350 years old. Another highlight that you pass shortly before returning to Kelberg is the Way of the Cross and the chapel on the Schwarzenberg, as well as the final resting place of fallen soldiers. A super beautiful and interesting hike with many historical and scenic highlights.
