The Gutland cycle path explores the varied Eifel landscapes over a distance of almost 55 kilometres. The section suggested here follows the Gutland cycle path from Bitburg to Welschbillig. From Welschbillig, you can either take the same route or the bus back to the starting point. Before doing so, however, you should definitely stop by the ruins of Welschbillig Castle, which was built around 1140.
