It goes through and around Landstuhl with the starting point at the Landstuhl town hall. The trail first leads through the medieval town until you finally reach the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve. There, after a climb, you reach Nanstein Castle, where you can learn about its past. The last part of the route offers magnificent views from the Bismarck Tower and St Mary's Chapel.
