Ahr-Radweg Etappe 2: Hönningen - Remagen-Kripp

This route is Stage 2 of the Ahr Cycle Route, a multi-day cycle route in Germany that runs from Hönningen to Remagen-Kripp. From Hönningen, the route follows the River Ahr through the rocky landscape of the Mittelahr and the famous red wine region, passing through Altenahr, Mayschoß and Ahrweiler, before reaching the Ahr’s confluence with the Rhine at Remagen-Kripp. Wild camping is not permitted; overnight stays are in hotels, guesthouses or at campsites in the towns. Drinking water can easily be topped up in the towns. Both stage locations are accessible by Deutsche Bahn (https://www.bahn.de). The Ahr Cycle Route is a 77 km (48 miles) long cycle route along the River Ahr from Blankenheim to Remagen-Kripp, which is usually cycled in two stages.
