Varied and picturesque circular hiking trail near Troisdorf in North Rhine-Westphalia.
This idyllic circular walk starts at the car park on Burgallee in front of Wissem Castle and leads along the castle moat past the deer park through the forest.
The Leyenweiher pond is a great place to observe birds (coots, ducks, herons, kingfishers) and dragonflies. The route continues over the Fliegenberg on sandy paths through the Wahner Heide. Finally, you can enjoy the beautiful view from the Telegrafenberg. Shortly before the end of the circular walk, you can visit Wissem Castle or stop off at one of the cafés or restaurants in the castle courtyard.
