This beautiful forest hike offers plenty of variety and leads from Schevenhütte to the dam of the Wehebach reservoir. It then continues along the dam wall, which offers a great view of the imposing tower in the lake, up to the Burgberg. After a few bends, the route follows the "Rennweg" uphill to the right.
Crossing the Schwarzebroich stream, the route continues straight on to the ruins of the Schwarzenbroich monastery and finally through the Meroder forest back to the starting point.
