Stage 5 of the long-distance hiking trail "Sintfeld-Höhenweg", North Rhine-Westphalia.
A varied circular hike in the southern Paderborn region - that is the approximately 145 km long Sintfeld-Höhenweg trail. The fifth stage of the Sintfeld High Trail begins in tranquil Blankenrode and ends in the climatic and Kneipp spa town of Bad Wünnenberg. Probably the most unusual highlight of this hike are the former lead caves, which are now a nature reserve. If you keep your eyes open, you can discover the "Blue Flower of Blankenrode", a strictly protected galmei violet that only grows here.
