Stage 4 of the long-distance hiking trail "Sintfeld-Höhenweg", North Rhine-Westphalia.
A varied circular hike in the southern Paderborn region - that is the approximately 145 km long Sintfeld-Höhenweg trail. The fourth stage of the Sintfeld-Höhenweg starts in Herbram and ends in Blankenrode. At almost 28 km, this is the longest section of the long-distance hiking trail, but also one of the most beautiful: far away from settlements, the trail leads over the Eggekamm ridge, from where there are magnificent views of the Felsenmeer and - from the popular "Bierbaums Nagel" viewing tower - even as far as the Wilhelmshöhe in Kassel.
At the end of the stage, you can stop for refreshments and stay overnight.
