Natural section of the Siegerland-Höhenring in North Rhine-Westphalia
The sixth and final stage of the Siegerland-Höhenring leads through the northernmost point of the route and back to the starting point at Ginsberger Heide. At the Wigrow rest area, you can still discover medieval border fortifications. If you wish, you can take a detour to the "Stahlberger Erbstolln" Müsen show mine and the excavation of a medieval mining settlement. The route leads through rustling beech and coniferous forests to the Ferndorf spring, Ginsburg forester's lodge and Ginsberg Heath.
