RTF Käpp vam Müöllenkoatten – 151 Route

This extensive 151-kilometre racing bike loop winds its way through the heart of the Bergisches Land region and is a first-class endurance challenge. The route, which is traditionally part of the RTF "Kapp vam Muollenkoatten", leads through a landscape of deep valleys, dense forests and historic half-timbered villages. Considerable physical stamina is required to master the constant, hilly climbs that characterise the region's terrain. Expect a consistent mix of smooth tarmac and winding back roads offering sweeping views of the local reservoirs and wooded ridges. Historically, the name refers to the regional dialect and the identity of the mill cottages that once fuelled the area's early industry. The terrain is technically straightforward, but requires a high level of fitness to conquer the total distance and metres in altitude.
