The tour starts at a forest and hiking car park. Well-maintained paths, a little more fun if you switch to the mountain bike trails. The extremely high viewing tower in the forest is great. From here there is a good view of the lakes and Krickenbeck Castle. For a long time, the route runs alongside a road and a golf course. The path between the Krickebeck lakes is a tarmac cycle highway. There is a place where you have a good view over both lakes and a little later a platform that is built a little over the water. You can't see the castle from the path. Interesting stretch between Louisenburg and the Blau Lagune lake: there is natural forest and singletrack here. The last kilometre leads through fields and past farms.
