Kirchrarbach K6 Runde

A beautiful tour with varied views and sections through the forest. An easy ascent and then a walk around the mountain, so little difference in altitude. Parking is available at the hiking car park in the centre of Kirchrarbach, from where you can follow the K6 sign. You soon leave the village and follow a tarmac road that is not too steep. The first view soon reveals itself. The tarmac road turns into an easily accessible gravel path and will remain so for most of the way. The route goes clockwise, which is why we initially turn left. More beautiful views soon pass by. At the end, the route turns right onto the tarmac road. There you will find a chapel with a signpost in the background. The route soon turns right again. If you are not afraid of spectacular views, follow the tarmac road to the radio mast. However, this path does not go uphill, but turns left onto a dirt track between the maize fields. More beautiful views follow. On the mountain on the other side, you can see that large areas of forest are being cut down. On this side of the slope, however, the path first leads into the forest.
