This hike definitely promises a varied nature experience. It takes you across meadows, through wide valley landscapes or along beautiful forest paths through the Ripsdorfer Forest and the Münstereifel State Forest. The "Ripsdorfer Brothaus", which dates back to the 17th century, gives the route its name. Bread was baked there and transported to Blankenheim via the bread trail. The route partly follows the old bread trail.
