Varied hiking trail in the Eifel.
Over almost 8 kilometres, you can experience the tranquillity of the Eickser Bush and the nature of the Rotbach and Bruchbach valleys.
You walk along narrow paths and forest tracks through a dense forest and past an idyllic forest chapel. It dates back to 1782 and is a classicist building, open on four sides with a simple Madonna in the centre. The forest chapel has long been a procession destination. The route also leads through a historic village centre with a small playground and small, idyllic half-timbered houses. Afterwards, there is pure nature in the fields and fragrant meadows of the Rotbach and Bruchbach valleys with their babbling brooks. At the end of the hike, you get a marvellous view of Eicks Castle.
