Picturesque circular trail in the Rur valley in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Enjoy the marvellous landscape on this varied hiking excursion along mountain paths and valley trails. It takes you out of the Rur valley and to the Schwammenauel reservoir. The ascents and descents are moderate and enrich this half-day tour with enchanting views of the countryside and the Rursee. Refreshments available in Heimbach and Scheidbaum. Route markings initially 68, then 38 shortly before Blens and trail 28 or theme tour T1 at the refuge.
