This great walk leads to two magnificent stalactite caves, the Prinzenhöhle and the Heinrichshöhle. The short circular route begins at the stalactite cave (Heinrichshöhle) in the Sundwig district of Hemer, which boasts distinctive river cave profiles and crevices and fissures over 20 metres high. It is part of the Perick cave system with a total passage length of over 3 kilometres and almost 300 metres have been developed and equipped with electric lighting, making it easy to visit.
For safety reasons, a visit to Heinrich's Cave is only possible as part of a guided tour and costs a small entrance fee.
