The starting point of this beautiful circular route is the parking lot directly at the mouth of the Erft. From there, the route follows the Erft upstream to Rauschenberg Castle in Selikumer Park. It goes back through the Reuschenberger Busch recreation area near Neuss-Selikum and past the Augustinusviertel until you finally reach the starting point on the banks of the Rhine again. There are places to stop. The route can be reached by bus and train (e.g., Sporthafen Neuss bus stop or Neuss-Süd train station).
