Beautiful circular route in the Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve - Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
A nice, easy and short circular route in the centre of the biosphere reserve. Start directly at the car park at Boitzenburg harbour. The route runs along the River Sude with great views of this unique landscape. Later, in the direction of the "Skatepark", six large information boards explain the more than 200-year history of the Boizenburg Elbe shipyard. It is nice to stroll around the old town centre and to stop off at the cafés, ice cream shops and restaurants.
Travelling by public transport is possible - the train to the "Boizenburg/Elbe" station and then the bus to the "Boizenburg, Schwartower Straße" stop can be taken.
