Popular circular route in the Harz National Park, Lower Saxony.
This circular route begins at the large car park south of Bad Harzburg and leads over the Winterberg, to the Kattnäse, to the Rabenklippe with its great views and to the picturesque Radauer waterfall. This falls 22 m over a steep rock face and is only 2 km south of the town sign of Bad Harzburg. The Rabenklippe, which is also on the way, is an iconic granite rock formation in the Harz Mountains that is very popular with climbers and offers truly fantastic views over the forested hills of the Harz Mountains. There are places to stop for refreshments at the whey house and near the starting point.
The parking lot at the starting point is chargeable.
