The starting point is located at the Misburg Nature Friends' Centre by the idyllic Blauer See lake. The route leads past the Sonnensee lake to the 68-metre-high Grauberg and continues across the motorway through the Altwarmbüchener Moor. The motorway has to be crossed once more before you reach the beautiful Altwarmbüchener See. This is a popular bathing lake and can be a great place to cool off on the hike in summer.
