Stage 5 of the long-distance cycle route "Leine-Heide-Radweg", Lower Saxony.
This is the fifth stage of the approximately 405 km long Leine-Heide Cycle Route, which leads from the source of the Leine in Leinefelde (Eichsfeld) through the heathlands of central and northern Germany to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg.
The fifth stage of the Leine Heath Cycle Route is around 52 kilometres long, starting in Schwarmstedt and ending in Soltau. You pass the confluence of the Leine and Aller rivers and cycle through the beautiful heath and moorland landscapes of the Lüneburg Heath.
The route can be reached by bus and train. Overnight accommodation and refreshment stops are available.
