This route is the fifth stage of the Heidschnuckenweg, a long-distance hiking trail through Lower Saxony. This particular section begins in Niederhaverbeck and ends in Bispingen. The trail crosses the Haverbeeke and follows the watershed between the Weser and the Elbe, passing the sources of the Wümme and the Brunau. Walkers cross the Behringer Heide, the Brunausee and the juniper-covered landscape of the Borsteler Kuhlen before reaching Bispingen via the Luhpadd.
