This is the second stage of the popular HarzerBaudensteig long-distance hiking trail, which runs through the Harz Mountains. It starts in Lerbach and goes all the way to Sieber.
In addition to the beautiful high moor landscapes of the Harz National Park, the route leads to the idyllically situated Sösestausee. This supplies the region around Göttingen and the area around Hanover with drinking water. In the Hanskuehnenburg you can stop off nicely.
